Residents were urged to steer clear of a section of the canal between Pierce Avenue and The Avenue for ‘public safety’. The bomb squad were spotted in the street after the device was uncovered by a family out magnet fishing. The mum, who was out fishing in the canal with her children and husband, shares videos of ‘Johnson’s Adventures’ to YouTube.

Nel Quartiere Acocks Green, mamma, papà e figli muniti di cima e magnete posizionati in Lincoln Road North dal canale “pescano” una granata inesplosa risalente alla seconda guerra mondiale. I genitori allertano la Polizia. Gli agenti giunti sul posto, in attesa del team artificieri, per sicurezza chiudono le strade limitrofe. Qualche residente si preoccupa. Non si sono preoccupati i genitori. Infatti la madre pescava con i figli e il padre registrava e pubblicava la bravata su YouTube. Noi possiamo solo aggiungere: “…God Save the Queen…”.
