Un agricoltore mentre ara il suo campo situato in località Ratanak Mondul è investito dall’esplosione di una mina anticarro che gli amputa di netto una gamba. L’uomo muore durante il trasporto in ospedale. C’è da aggiungere che il fattore avrebbe lavorato quella terra da sei anni, arandola ogni anno sempre più profondamente. Oggi la macchina agricola ha raggiunto la mina che pressata, colpita è detonata.

“When the accident happened, he was plowing his own farmland which he had cultivated for six or seven years. However, on that day at about 1:30pm, the tractor ran over the mine and it exploded,” he said.
“His left leg was completely severed and he died on the way to the commune hospital. The tractor was ruined as the wheels were blasted off the tractor body.”
Mr. Nath said that over the years the soil was dug progressively deeper until finally reaching to where the mine was located, causing the tractor to accidentally detonate it.
