Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg, the dog knocks out a plane bomb
Hamburg-Mitte District, Wilhelmsburg District. In a sand pit not far from Wilhelmsburger Reichsstraße, bomb squads defuse a 250-pound American-made WWII plane bomb. The device was found in the sand by a person walking with his dog. The dog a forcefully restrained his master to dig out and release the plane bomb.At the sight of the bomb, the man, still incredulous of the particular performance of his four-legged friend, immediately alerts the police. Obviously, the agents of the operations room found it hard to believe the report of the man who immediately sent a photo about it.Upon seeing the photo, the police officers send firefighters and bomb squads to the scene. It remains to understand the reasons for the presence of an airplane bomb hidden by a few centimeters of sand in a quarry. A bomb found inside the construction site during excavations? In una cava di sabbia non distante dalla Wilhelmsburger Reichsstraße, gli artificieri disinnescano una bomba d’aereo da 250 libbre risalente alla seconda guerra mondiale e di fabbricazione americana. L’ordigno è stato trovato tra la sabbia da un residente a passeggio con il suo cane. Ed è stato proprio il cane a trattenere con forza il suo padrone a sterrare e mettere in luce la bomba d’aereo. Alla vista dell’ordigno il residente ancora incredulo della particolare performance del suo amico a quattro zampe allerta subito la Polizia. Ovviamente gli agenti della sala operativa hanno stentato a credere alla segnalazione dell’uomo il quale invia subito una foto dell’ordigno. Alla vista della foto, gli agenti di Polizia inviano sul posto Vigili del Fuoco e artificieri. Resta da comprendere le ragioni della presenza di una bomba d’aereo nascosta da qualche centimetro di sabbia in una cava. Una bomba rinvenuta all’interno del cantiere durante lavori di scavi? E l’operatore dell’escavatore non la vede? Una bomba portata da un camion da un altro cantiere? E anche in questo caso nessuno vede la bomba rotolare sul mucchio di sabbia?
