Un obus a été découvert jeudi après-midi au sein du recyparc de Haccourt (Oupeye), indiquent les pompiers de Liège. Une équipe de démineurs a été dépêchée sur place. Un obus de plus de 40 centimètres a été retrouvé vers 15h00 jeudi dans un conteneur à métaux du recyparc de Haccourt, situé rue de Campine. Contacté par l’agence Belga, le service presse de la Défense confirmait jeudi après-midi qu’une “équipe du Service d’enlèvement et de destruction d’engins explosifs (SEDEE) a été appelée sur place.”
DOVO waarschuwt daarom voor het potentieel gevaar en raadt aan om de politie te contacteren bij aantreffen van deze of andere oorlogstuigen. “In dit geval gaat het om een afgevuurd projectiel met gewapend ontstekingsmechanisme. Elke aanraking of verplaatsing kan gevaarlijk zijn”, waarschuwt DOVO.
