Κλιμάκιο ανδρών της Διοίκησης Υποβρυχίων Καταστροφών/Ομάδας Εξουδετέρωσης Ναρκών) του Πολεμικού Ναυτικού, πραγματοποίησε σήμερα τις πρωινές και μεσημεριανές ώρες προγραμματισμένη επιχείρηση εξουδετέρωσης πυρομαχικού. Πρόκειται για ένα βλήμα όλμου Β΄ Παγκοσμίου πολέμου, σε βάθος 10 μέτρων και σε απόσταση 12 μέτρων από την ακτή, που εξεδετερώθηκε με ελεγχόμενη έκρηξη, στην θαλάσσια περιοχή Πλάκες Ν. Μαγνησίας (πλησίον συλλόγου «ΝΗΡΕΥΣ» και πλησίον άλσους «ΡΗΓΩΝΗ»). Η επιχείρηση εξελίχθηκε ομαλά και έγινε σε συνεργασία με Όργανα και πλωτό σκάφος Υπηρεσίας και με την συνδρομή της Δ/νσης Αστυνομίας Μαγνησίας/Τροχαίας Βόλου και το ΕΚΑΒ.
